Born and raised in New York, the only child of two doting parents, Alicia displayed a talent for singing and acting from a young age - and a love of the spotlight to match. Her performance in school was mediocre, but she auditioned for every play and every musical, and routinely landed starring roles. By the time she graduated high school (her grades just barely adequate), she already knew what she wanted to do with herself, and managed to get into college (barely) to get a degree in drama. From there, she headed for Broadway and never looked back. She got a bit of culture shock, however, when she realized she was back at the bottom, there were plenty of other talented people she would have to compete with, and she was going to have to work for any attention she got, instead of just getting it by default. But that didn't hold her back for long, and she began getting parts in off-Broadway productions, then chorus or bit parts in actual Broadway shows. And not long ago, at age 26, she finally got the big break she'd been working for - the lead role in a Broadway revival of "Annie, Get Your Gun." She can only hope that the end of the world doesn't ruin it. |
Onstage, Alicia is a chameleon - a versatile actress with a gift for diving into a role and quite convincingly becoming her character, whoever that might be. The talent carries offstage, and she's good at faking an attitude most appropriate to the situation at hand, a skill that has served her quite well throughout her life. Beneath all that, however, when she's not pretending to be anyone, she's a fiery woman who's dead set on accomplishing her goals. If she thinks it's important, Alicia will pursue it with every fiber of her being - but if she doesn't care, she won't even pretend to be expending any effort on something. She's a touch spoiled as a result of her upbringing, and she loves being the center of attention, but having to start at the bottom on Broadway has helped her curb it a bit. |
The ability to generate blasts of concussive force. This could be compared to a very unrefined form of telekinesis, which can only be used to push - however, it pushes hard. A normal blast of force is enough to smash through doors, for example; should Alicia exert herself, she's capable of being quite destructive. However, it's fairly indiscriminate destruction, and beyond simply aiming in the right direction, there's little that can be done to control it. Thus, her abilities are great for brute force and smashing things around, but don't serve her well for doing anything small-scale or that requires fine control. |
can never see the sun this diva needs her stage, baby let's have fun |
